Correspondence inwards from Education Department in regard to Ellinbank Tennis Club.
1946: re disposal of site on which tennis courts are situated.
1947: re policy of Education Department no use of tennis courts on Sundays.
1956: re Education department will not consider sale of tennis courts as they are on school property.
1958: re request of when courts were built and when ( the courts were erected by local community in 1927/28)
1959: re the sale of the tennis courts under consideration.
1959: re The Education Department agreeable to sell quarter acre of schoolgrounds with the courts - school must agree that use of the courts will be available to the school children.
1960: re invitation of Ellinbank and District Recreation Reserve to new tennis and basketball courts on 15.11.1960.
1961: re request for non-admission onto the Warragul and District Tennis Association will not be allowed so still officially within the Association.
1981: From Shire of Warragul re the need to regenerate interest in tennis and use of facilities. .
