West Gippsland Residential Association: Milestones in Community Services West Gippsland Residential Association Incorporation.W G R A I Milestones - 1985 February formed committee 1985 November purchased house at 67 Albert Street, Warragul, but unable to alter. 1986 June, received a Government Grant to purpose build a home for profoundly disabled children. Grant was $170,000 1987 September, building complete and first clients moved into Stratfield Court, Warragul. 1989 Verbal confirmation for Government funding for a partially staffed adult facility 1990 April appointment of a program and services coordinator-office in Warragul. 1991 Obtained specialised transport 1992 January, opened adult community residential unit at Drouin. 1992 November, Community Services Victoria resumed day to day management of all units. 1992 The third house then constructed at Eisenhower Court, Warragul 1993 August, responsibility W G R A I committee of management greatly changed and establishment of the Eisenhower Court no longer their involvement. 1995 Final decisions to be made for W G R A I as no longer involved due to government takeover, therefore closed.

Deloraine C/A 12 James Slater, John Carty, Benjamin Stanton with information 1895- 1904 several owners. 1904 - 1913 Rosetta Roberts 1913 - 1940 Thomas Baldwin Richards who married 1914 house built c.1913-1915 1940 Burt Best became legal owner but had been living at Deloraine from 1928, daughter Amy married Edward (Jack) Carter in 1930, so partnership Best and Carter. Features of the residence are largely Edwardian with editions, and images of Deloraine.
